City of Franklin City of Franklin Reverse 911 Self-Registration The City of Franklin uses the emergency notification system Reverse 911 to notify residents during an emergency situation. Residents can elect to add additional contact numbers and email addresses to the system. Register at https://franklinva.onthealert.com

City of Poquoson City of Poquoson CodeRed Alert System City of Poquoson residents can register for the telephone notification services which will call you in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action. City of Portsmouth  Alert Portsmouth The City of Portsmouth emergency alert notification system provides notifications to residential and commercial landline phone numbers. Residents are encouraged to register cell phone numbers and email addresses. Register here.

City of Virginia Beach VBAlert The City of Virginia Beach uses VBAlert to provide rapid voice and text emergency notifications to subscribers when there is an emergency situation. Residents are encouraged to register cell phone numbers and email addresses. Register at VBAlert

Gloucester County Gloucester Connection Email News Service Gloucester Connection is a free service that allows you to receive information and notification from the County government in the areas that you choose - including Emergency E-Alerts and Emergency Management. Register at www.gloucesterva.info by clicking on ‘Emergency E-Alerts’ in the lower right hand corner under the ‘Stay Informed’ section.
Isle of Wight County  IW Alert Isle of Wight County uses IW Alert to contact you during a major crisis or emergency with real-time updates, instruction on whereto go, what to do, or what not to do, who to report to and other important information. Register at www.iwalert.net
James City County JCCAlert.org James City County uses JCC Alert to contact you during a major crisis or emergency with real-time updates, instructions on where to go, what to do, or what not to do, who to report to and other important information. Register at www.jccalert.org
Southampton County SouthamptonCounty CodeRED Alert System Southampton County uses the CodeRed® system to deliver pre-recorded emergency telephone notifications to landline telephones. Citizens can register online to add cell phone numbers and register to receive weatheralerts. Surry County Surry County InstantAlert Surry County residents can sign-up to be notified in the event of an emergency by calling call 757-294-5292 and requesting a card to sign up for Instant Alert
York County York Alert 

York County uses York Alert to provide residents with emergency notifications.  Alerts can be sent to your home phone, cell phone, email account, Smartphone, etc.  Registration is free and can be found at www.yorkcounty.gov, under the Fast Finds drop down menu or by clicking here.
